Terms

Short rules, because the service is short: take a slot, upload a file, export. What follows is the minimum needed for us to agree.

What this service is

DLSS5 Studio is a free, non-profit project for education and outreach. It runs the NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering runtime on RTX GPUs we operate, on the material you give it.

It is not affiliated with NVIDIA, nor endorsed by NVIDIA. DLSS is a trademark of NVIDIA Corporation.

No account, no long contract

No sign-up. A slot lasts 180 seconds and is the whole of the relationship between us: when it expires, it is over.

Donations buy nothing. They unlock no features, extend no slot, grant no place in the queue: they pay for electricity and cards.

What you may upload

Material you hold the rights to, or may lawfully use. Game screenshots remain their publishers': showing them for a technical comparison is one thing, passing them off as your own is another.

No illegal content, no sexual material, no real violence, no footage of identifiable people who do not know about it, nothing involving minors.

Technical limits: 100 MB for videos, 20 MB for images.

What not to do

No automation grabbing slots in bursts, no attempts to escape the slot or to reach the machines by other routes, no reselling GPU time.

The slots are few and they are real: taking them with a script means taking someone's turn.

What you publish

Publishing to the catalogue is optional. If you do it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to show those two images, the parameters and the text you wrote, on the site and in its previews, for as long as the entry stays published.

You keep ownership of what is yours. You can ask for it to be taken down at any time by writing to privacy@dlss5studio.com.

We may refuse or remove an entry without having to justify it: review exists because the catalogue is public and our name is on it.

What we do not promise

No availability guarantee. Capacity is small and is stated live at the bottom of the home page: when the slots are busy you wait, and when the machines are off nothing runs.

No guarantee about the result: the render is what the NVIDIA runtime produces with the parameters you chose.

Your file is deleted when the slot expires. If you did not download the export in time it is gone, and there is no copy to ask for.

If something goes wrong

The service is free and provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for damages arising from use of the service or from its unavailability. Mandatory consumer protections under applicable law are unaffected.

Law and changes

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence remain competent.

These rules can change, and the date at the top says when that last happened. The Italian version is the reference one: the others are courtesy translations.
