How it works, step by step
DLSS5 Studio does not imitate DLSS. Your frames are sent to a real RTX GPU running the NVIDIA Neural Rendering pipeline, and every render produces a report confirming that feature 18 ran.
You upload the video
The file enters the slot assigned to you and stays on the machine only for the length of the slot. It is not copied anywhere else.
You pick a frame and set the parameters
Every preview is a real render on a single frame: seconds instead of ten minutes, so you can try, get it wrong and try again without waiting each time.
The GPU runs the NVIDIA pipeline
Frames go to the DLSS 5 Neural Rendering runtime on a physical RTX 40/50. It is not an emulation: it is the same runtime that would run on your PC, if you had the card.
You export, and take the report with you
The result arrives with the render summary: runtime, feature, frames processed, output resolution.
The slot expires and the machine is wiped
At expiry the place passes to the next person in line and your material is deleted from the GPU.
What the report contains
Every render carries the proof of how it was produced: which card, which runtime, which feature, how many frames processed. If a comparison ends up in the catalogue, the report stays attached.
The questions we get most
Is this real DLSS or an imitation?
It is the NVIDIA DLSS 5 Neural Rendering runtime executed on real RTX GPUs. Every render's report declares that feature 18 ran.
Why do I sometimes have to wait?
Because the cards are physical machines and the slots are few. When they are all busy, there is a queue.
What happens to my video?
It stays on the machine for the length of the slot and is deleted at expiry. We do not keep it anywhere.
Do I need an account?
No. Take a slot, work, export.
Do donations unlock extra features?
No. They pay for the electricity and the cards. Donors get nothing the others don't.
If you want to lend a hand
The project is free and non-profit. Donations pay the bills and the cards: they unlock nothing, they just keep more GPUs powered on.
