DLSS 5 in The Sinking City 2
The Sinking City 2 has no official DLSS 5 support, and none has been announced. The comparisons on this page were produced by this site: frames uploaded by players, run through NVIDIA's DLSS 5 Neural Rendering runtime on real RTX GPUs. They show what the model does to the image, not a setting in the game.
It is a horror game built on darkness and fog, and that is a demanding test: Neural Rendering has to recover detail from shadows without flattening the atmosphere that makes the game work. In the ON frames, look at wet surfaces, at faces in low light and at how much of the fog survives.
If you upload your own footage, preview a dark scene and a lit one before exporting: the same settings can look very different in the two. The summary above shows the modes and presets used so far.
