DLSS 5 in Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed Odyssey has no official DLSS 5 support, and Ubisoft has not announced any. The DLSS 5 game on NVIDIA's list is Assassin's Creed Shadows, not Odyssey. Every comparison on this page was made by running frames that players uploaded through the DLSS 5 Neural Rendering runtime on this site's RTX cards: it is what the model does to the image, not a setting you can switch on in the game.
Odyssey is a good stress test because most of its screen is light: sun on white stone, sea glare, dust in the air. In the ON frames, look at how shadows under arches and trees gain depth, and at faces, where Neural Rendering tends to add the most. The night comparison is the one to open first: low light is where the difference between the original frame and the reconstruction is easiest to see.
If you try it on your own footage, start from the Default style at a moderate intensity and move to Cinematic only if you want the contrast pushed further; the summary above shows what other people used.
